In celebration of the second class of PACE (Professional Apprenticeship for Consulting Excellence) apprentices, M Powered Strategies hosted a welcome reception to officially introduce and integrate the current apprentices (PACErs) with the company and the PACE Alumni community.
After welcoming remarks by PREP Director, Erin Bankey, PACE Alumni Sanyog Rai and Bryan Marchefsky spoke of their current careers, how they benefited from PACE, and imparted advice for the current PACE class. Each member of the fall class presented a personal introduction, describing their experiences leading up to PACE and their goals for the program.
“It was very rewarding to see all the PACErs, past and present, representing the program together,” remarked Bankey. “I look forward to seeing the PACE community grow and flourish with each successive class.”
The current PACE apprentices are working with teams on Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) contracts – Veterans Benefits Management Systems (VBMS), Information Technology Workforce Development (ITWD) and Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) Core-with roles ranging from training to meeting management and requirements analysis. Along with hands-on client experience and networking opportunities, the apprentices participate in weekly classroom trainings. As part of PREP (Professional Readiness and Effectiveness Program), PACE is a 25-week program designed to accelerate career development in consulting and pipeline talent within private sector consulting firms.
