Kendall Lott, PMP

President and CEO

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Gallup® Certified Strengths Coach

Why MPS?

I like organizations, how they work, how they are designed, and how people are empowered within them. Government organizations and nonprofits are particularly fascinating with their roots in service. From Peace Corps Volunteer, to Civil Servant at USDA and USDOJ, to working with governments in Asia and the Middle East, and two years as COO and CEO for the DC chapter of the Project Management Institute, public service has been my mission. At MPS we focus on Organizational Change to bring about more effective service delivery in the Federal Government and NGOs. It is gratifying to see the great work our team does, and the results they yield.

  • Certified Professional in Managing Workplace Conflict: Mediation Training Institute International

Why MPS?

Coming from a large organization, I joined MPS curious to test the small business environment, specifically the ability to influence and develop both corporate operations and my own delivery to our clients.  Immediately I was impressed with the encouragement and autonomy to put your hand up and immerse yourself in management and corporate opportunities. The realization of my own motivation and capacity intersecting with opportunity provides a work context that leads to an immediate and tangible impact on the company, my clients and the public service. I believe this frontline service to our government clients and opportunities in corporate operations is unique to a small business, and one that genuinely values employee development.

Kat McDonald

Community Engagement Manager

Certifications: N/A

Why MPS?

During my time with MPS, I have benefited from the wide-range of opportunities available to me and the support of the executive and management team in taking on new leadership roles. Working for a small business has allowed my initiative to orient my career’s direction in areas of interest to me, and in ways which permit me to grow both personally and professionally. Through the design, implementation, and management of our Community Engagement programs I’ve realized one of my greatest passions by expanding my own and MPS’ consulting reach outside of purely government clients, to assist nonprofits in overcoming business challenges.
