Professional Apprenticeship for Consulting Excellence
Part of MPS’ ANSI-accredited Professional Readiness and Effectiveness Program (PREP)
Apprentices in the Professional Apprenticeship for Consulting Excellence (PACE) program experience the reality and the rewards of consulting as they actively participate in client delivery and professional networking. This real-world experience, combined with weekly classroom training, professional coaching and mentoring, along with an independent business case study, ensure that individuals who complete this intense 25-week program have the practical knowledge, skills, and experience required to be full-fledged management consultants.
In addition to working approximately forty hours per week on client projects, apprentices receive dedicated professional classroom training, taught by certified/licensed experts. Topics cover Knowledge Domains (such as Problem Solving Tools & Techniques, Business Process Definition & Documentation); Interpersonal Effectiveness; and General Business Skills. Classes are held once a week from 5:30pm-9pm. Dinner is provided to all participants. See our full list of course offerings here.
In addition to the classroom training, each apprentice must conduct an independent business case study, which they present to an executive panel at the end of the 25-week program.
