About the Speakers

Ken Smith is a long-time member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and IPMA-USA; a project management practitioner, researcher-evaluator, manager, advisor, consultant & instructor/facilitator.

Initially a management intern, analyst/systems specialist with the US Department of Defense; he later was a Senior Foreign Service officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development and gained world-wide experience – at HQ and field levels — as a management systems advisor, evaluator, project, program & portfolio manager of various sector projects, as well as an in-house trainer/facilitator.
