Brian Wenzler’s Sunny DC Outlook

Hello from my home office in Washington, DC! As we hit the peak of summer, working from home has become routine again. It has helped that most of my previous projects over the six years I’ve been at MPS have been remote, which helped me to develop good remote work-from-home habits and stay focused on providing value to my clients. I definitely miss the in-person interaction with colleagues, but Microsoft Teams and socially-distanced, outdoor happy hours have helped us to stay connected as the area cautiously opens up.

To stay healthy, I’ve been taking lots of walks with my dog, running along the National Mall, and joining virtual yoga classes. I’ve also been educating myself about public health, racism, and police brutality as our country and the world struggle with these topics. This has led me to examine the strategies and solutions to the challenges we face, and which organizations I choose to support. This includes taking advantage of MPS’ generous employee matching contributions benefit.
