PACE alumni gathered to celebrate Collin Furth (2nd from left) and Brad McCandless (far right).

Congratulations, PACE Cohort 11!

On June 29th, staff and friends of MPS celebrated the presentation of certificates to PACE Cohort 11 at the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Sidney Harman Hall in downtown Washington, DC. Both members of the group – Brad McCandless and Collin Furth – will be staying on as fulltime consultants. According to Collin, “The lessons learned in PACE training have allowed me to navigate the world of consulting with confidence, and I have the accomplished and caring members of MPS to thank for it.”

The award for Best Business Case Study went to Brad, who investigated MPS’ ability to provide strategic planning services to an office within the Department of Commerce’s National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to improve their overall mission and execution for the next 20+ years. “It’s not every day that a company invests six months of personal and professional development into someone, and I feel incredibly lucky to be on the receiving end of that generosity,” noted Brad.
